Marooned! is an exploration/adventure sort of game that I'm currently prototyping. You can see what I'm up to
with it on LiveJournal and Twitter.
In Marooned!, you take the role of one of the crew of a ship, just lost at sea. You've been washed ashore on a strange tropical island and need to find food, water and shelter to survive. Can you survive until rescue comes, assuming it ever does?
Explore the island.
- Random terrain generation provides infinite play!
Search for survival.
- Find a potable water source before thirst takes its toll!
- There's plenty of food… if you're smart enough (or brave enough!) to know what to eat!
- Can you build some sort of shelter before the rains come?
- Random things to find… treasure or terror?
Hunt… and be hunted.
- You'll need to catch some of your food… and some things might try to catch you!

I might have to change the name before release though; there's a “hidden object” game called Marooned that was released in 2009.
